Kathleen & Chris

This was our second visit to Cameron House in as many weeks. Kathleen & Chris had a humanist ceremony and their celebrant for the day was Leslie Mitchell, the very same man who married Eva and myself last year. It was lovely to see him again and it brought back a lot of nice memories. Kathleen & Chris were brilliant and followed us here, there and everywhere. As did a wee family of ducks who thought it would be a great laugh to pop into every shot we tried to get of the Loch, it wouldn't have been so bad if they had been smiling. C&E x

A wee note from Kathleen on her vendors:

Our suppliers who really stood out for us were:

Both of you ....of course.. You made us very relaxed and we had such good fun with you on the day. As photographers, we felt you weren't intrusive at all (and Chris doesn't like getting photos taken so you did well!!). Chris and I felt like we got some time together to chat when we were alone for our photos with, I think that was the only time we really had together by ourselves on the day, so you were a great help to us on the day - thanks!!!

Mailin Haddow - I loved my make up.. I wanted something quite bold but still appropriate for a bride.. she struck the balance really well for me and I'd been to 3/4 trials before I found someone who could achieve the look I wanted

Special Days - Loved the cake!! The detail was fab but felt classic - had fruit chocolate and sponge fillings too!

Simply Strings were a really surprise as I hadn't heard them (except online) before the day. They learned 2 songs for us, which I thought was great and I thought they were just brilliant on the day.

Wedding Band was Wild Card - Great entertainment on the night, loved the variety of the songs and the fun with the sing a long... I love karaoke!

The venue (Cameron House) and the service was fab... every detail was taken care of, and was really relaxed and everything went smoothly and the food was superb, Lindsay, Jen and the head chef did a great job- even the mini fire alarm!

We loved the flowers by Floral Haven and thought they were a bit different with the green hydrangeas as our theme, which added some brightness and vibrancy to the colour scheme.

Our wedding ceremony was very personal and special to us and Leslie Mitchell did a fantastic job on the day

I got my dress in the bridal room at Frasers and my shoes were Maisie Wedding Shoes - Fifi By Filippa Scott.

Also Chris & Kathleen's wedding was featured on the amazing cake & pictures site!
