Tony & Clare
This is our biggest blog to date and to be honest it could have been twice the size.Tony & Clare's brief was simple, no set up shots, no big group shots and no family group shots, easy! The result was the biggest collection of photographs to date and it's definitely an approach we'd recommend to all our future couples. We had a brilliant day at Blairquhan Castle, it's an absolutely amazing location for a wedding and Tony & Clare's day was just perfect. Our highlights of the day were the butterfly landing on Clare, the 'sopranos' inspired photo ( ok, the 1 shot Clare & Tony requested heh heh!) and Tony getting up to sing Clare a surprise song, brilliant! Great set of images - I agree with the concept of hiring a photographer whose vision you trust and letting them get on with the job. If you like relaxed and documentary photos let them have as much time doing what they do best and don't squander the time having them arrange groups of people.
I love it when a couple say 'Do your thing' - it frees me up to be more creative and deliver a better product as a result.

We couldn't have put it better ourselves. Clare is actually the first bride that has asked us to shoot this way and we loved it. Lets hope its an approach that catches on!
